My Grandmother Amy Clarke born in Cooktown at the end of the 1800s became a well known figure in the Trobriand Islands of New Guinea. My book takes the reader on a journey from her birth in 1884 to her death in 1960. The book is still a work in progress but I will give you some snippets on here as my writing progresses.
